Intro.

Hi - I’m Whitney. Currently, I’m the Chief of Staff at Factored Quality where we help brands run quality control on their global supply chains.

Prior to joining Factored, I was an Operations Consultant for early stage startups (Seed to B), where I helped teams to build scaleable foundational frameworks in order to exceed their growth goals.

I’ve worked with several Y Combinator startups and founders across the US, Europe and Asia and collectively have enabled them to raise over $150M (and counting!) in venture funding.

Work.

  • Factored Quality enables brands to run quality control on their global supply chains.

    Funding: $7.1M Seed (Amity Ventures, BAM Ventures, Dynamo, Very Great, Vinyl VC & Pari Passu)

    Customers: Dr. Squatch, atoms, Lalo, Soft Services, Resident, Canopy, Misen, Forum Brands, Frida, Brooklinen & more.

    My impact: Business strategy development and execution, people operations and hiring, culture building, fundraising and investor relations, risk management and contracts.

  • Crowdbotics turns ideas into code using prebuilt modules.

    Funding: $60M total (Harrison metal, Bee partners, Jackson Square Ventures, New Enterprise Associates

    Customers: Facebook, Uber, Airbus, US Airforce.

    My impact: Built and scaled the service operations team from 10 to 75 people, globally. Implemented SOP, best practices and defined the customer journey and customer experience.

  • ngrok is a unified ingress platform for developers.

    Funding: $50M (Lightspeed Venture Partners)

    Customers: Twilio, Github, Zoom, Microsoft, Zendesk, Databricks

    My impact: Built and implemented customer operations and support infrastructure.

  • Flockjay empowers upward mobility through education and access.

    Funding: $14.4M (Coatue, Headline, Lightspeed Venture partners, Serena Williams, Will Smith & more)

    Customers:

    My impact: Designed, development and launched the first community platform/ network for Flockjay students.

  • Codecov is a code coverage reporting solution for any test suite.

    Funding: Bootstrapped. Acquired by Sentry in November 2022.

    Customers: Brex, Loom, Oracle, Philips, Hitachi and more.

    My impact: Operations management and transition from Founder to new CEO. Scaled people operations in the early team, built out scaleable support channels and more.
